Thousand Foot Krutch continues to garner success from their recent release “Welcome to the Masquerade” as the band received another No. 1 Christian Rock single with “Fire It Up.”   This marks the band’s second No. 1 rock single off of their fifth studio album following “Bring Me To Life.”  In addition, “Fire It Up” has had numerous TV, film, gaming and sport arena placements including the latest feature at the Super Bowl this year.  “Fire It Up” joins the other rock No. 1 singles for TFK: "Puppet,” "Absolute,” "Faith, Love and Happiness," "The Art of Breaking," "Rawkfist," "Phenomenon,” “Falls Apart” and "Bring Me To Life.”  This single also gave TFK their fourth Top 20 hit on the Active Rock chart.  Here's what  stations are saying about “Fire It Up”:

"We are so excited that ‘Fire It Up’ has gone to #1!  Well deserved from an amazing band who is guaranteed to have many more!"
-Radio U’s Nikki Cantu

“'Fire it Up' reminds us why the TFK guys are the Kings of the Rock Anthem.  One of the Hottest songs we've spun in years. It's "Rawkfist" for 2010.  This is why we have Rock Radio!”
-Cale Nelson, The Z Nation Music Director

“TFK has always been one of our all-time top artists - and 'Fire It Up' delivers on that expectation from our listeners, with an irresistible explosion of rock.”
-Brian Harman, The Effect Radio Network Music Director

Thousand Foot Krutch’s “Welcome to the Masquerade” was also nominated for a JUNO Award in the “Contemporary Christian / Gospel Album of the Year.” The 39th JUNO Awards, Canada’s Music Awards, are in association with The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS).  This nomination coincides with the success of the album as it was also honored with two Dove Award nominations for “Rock Recorded Song of the Year” (“Bring Me To Life”) and “Rock Album of the Year.”   The Juno Awards are April 19 and the Dove Awards are April 21.

Since the release of “Welcome to the Masquerade,” the band has nabbed much media attention as well as the opening spot on select Breaking Benjamin’s upcoming tour dates.  TFK will open for Breaking Benjamin starting this weekend March 13th concluding the 21st.  Dates and ticket information online.
