One of the freshest ‘sneak preview’ music packages for the Christmas season comes from an exciting new contemporary Christian artist—set to officially launch her musical imprint in 2010.

Dorothy Savage is reaching radio this month with an early preview EP, featuring three classic Christmas favorites and a bonus preview track of her first radio single, As Long As It Takes, set to launch in January. The single is pulled from Dorothy’s debut album, Glorious Mess, which will street on February 9th.

What Child Is This? from the special Christmas release produced by Marty Magehee is already enjoying connectivity with programmers in early reports across the board at Christian radio . It is the subject of an ambitious service at CHR, AC, and Inspo formats as a pre-launch introduction to Savage as a new face in the industry’s 2010 release calendar. The music is available to radio on the Play MPE digitial delivery system, according to James Riley of Riley Promotions who is overseeing radio strategies for both Savage’s Christmas music and the set-up for launch of her debut album release.

A special service of the Christmas EP to Christian media and key VIP music industry influencers is also scheduled for mid-November by Savage’s PR team.

Noted her manager, Ray Ware, of Ray Ware Management: “When Dorothy Savage announced to me and her creative team in August that she was going to record the Christmas album she had always wanted to make even before she had finished laying down the vocals for her first single “As Long As It Takes,” I wasn’t entirely surprised. Dorothy is not your conventional musical artist. She does not fit the normal box. She is undeniably and quite delightfully herself and while the holiday album won’t be available until next Christmas – we decided to give Christian radio a sneak peek at three of the songs and make them available for downloads in 2009.”

For Savage’s first full-on studio album, Glorious Mess, listeners can look forward to the audio benefits of the enlistment of some of Nashville best creative talent.

Producer Marty Magehee (of 4HIM) assembled the overall heart of the project in studio over the past year. Chris Omartian (Rubyz, Atomic Blonde) will also have a two song contributing production credit on the release. Contributing songwriters include Chris Sligh (American Idol) and Dan Muckala (Backstreet Boys), as well as Jill Philips and Cindy Morgan.

Dorothy Savage will be doing pre-publicity interviews for the new album within the next few weeks. Her website presence and social networking sites can be accessed through: www.dorothysavage.com
