Word Entertainment is proud to announce the promotion of Josh Bailey to Senior Vice President of A&R, and Jamie Kiner to Director of A&R. Kiner will report directly to Bailey, while Bailey will report directly to Word Entertainment’s President & CEO, Mark Bright.

Formerly Senior Director of A&R, Bailey will now oversee all current and upcoming Word Entertainment artist-related projects as well as the continued development of the company’s artist roster. Bailey has been with Word Entertainment since 2005. He signed to Word Entertainment Dove New Artist of the Year nominee Francesca Battistelli, who is currently also the most-added new artist in the history of Christian radio. In addition, Bailey has helped develop the careers of several acclaimed Christian artists including Big Daddy Weave, Group 1 Crew, and pureNRG.
Prior to his time at Word, Bailey worked with renowned artist coach Tom Jackson as Business Manager, in addition to his work with Fervent Records’ founder Susan Riley, serving as Manager of A&R. Bailey received his Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Political Science from Cedarville University.
Jamie Kiner has been with Word Entertainment since 2005 and was previously Word’s A&R Project Manager. In her new role, she will work more closely in assisting with the development and signing of the label’s artists. Additionally, she will oversee the coordination of each artist’s album recording process. Kiner has worked with many award-winning artists including Dove Award’s four-time Female Vocalist of the Year Natalie Grant, legendary guitarist Phil Keaggy and multi-platinum artist Jaci Velasquez, and has been extremely instrumental in the most recent and upcoming projects from platinum-selling country group Diamond Rio as well as Christian music’s most beloved songwriter and story-teller, Mark Schultz.
Otto Price will continue in his role at Word Entertainment as Vice President of A&R. Price has been with Word Entertainment since 2005 and has been involved with many award-winning Christian acts, including touring for six years with dcTalk, forming and producing the widely successful worship act SonicFlood, and producing artists such as GRITS, Rebecca St. James, Plumb, and Out of Eden. He has also produced each of Fervent Records’ popular sister rock trio BarlowGirl’s albums and is currently working on their upcoming release, Love & War.
