Singer/actress Katelyn Tarver (American Idol Juniors) was in Jacksonville, Florida last weekend to co-host the Miss Freedom Pageant with MJ Garrett (MTV's The Real World, The Gauntlet). The event was held Saturday, August 26th at the Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts.

In addition to heavy touring in promotion of her debut CD Wonderful Crazy, Tarver can be seen as "Barbie" in the new DVD The Barbie Diaries, and she'll be seen this fall in Gospel Music Channel's new TV campaign alongside Michael W. Smith, BarlowGirl, Audio Adrenaline, George Huff, Canton Jones and Natalie Grant.

The next stop on Tarver's schedule in Japan and the Philippines, where she will promoting her album during an intense 14-day promotional tour. This Christmas, Katelyn will join The Jonas Brothers on a portion of Radio Disney's Jingle Jam Tour.
