Hey Matt,  boy the last two weeks have pretty busy for Christian music.  Great albums have or will hit shortly and it’s been pretty hard to keep up.   Superchick, Jon Forman, This Beautiful Republic, Family Force 5 and Kutless to name a few.

I have spent the last week listening to Third Day’s Revelation and Relient K’s The Birds and the Bee Sides.  Both are amazing efforts by veteran bands well worth the wait.   Third Day’s new album is classic Third Day and has quickly become one of my favorites from the band.  Who else remembers Black Bird from their first major release?  Revelation has that same feel so fans of the band will so enjoy this one.  But wait, there is more… Relient K doesn’t disappoint either.  With a huge album full of original, remade and ‘witty’ tracks, I haven’t stopped listened.  The CD has 13 new tracks and 13 additional ‘bee’ side tracks.  Yeah that’s a total of 26 songs for one of Christian music’s most popular bands.

Next week will be another busy one.  I will give my first impressions of the long awaited Family Force 5 CD that will hit in August!    ~ until then ~  - Kevin K
