Ovation, it's the shape. The story of
Ovation started with Charles Kaman and Kaman Aircraft in 1947. As a
helicopter and aerospace design firm, they made many innovations including
the first gas turbine helicopter.
Mr. Kaman was a guitar
enthusiast and later used his aerospace division's know-how and discoveries
to create a quitar making division. Through this innovation, Mr. Kaman
founded Ovation Intruments in 1965. By 1966, Ovation released it's
first guitar product.
Today Ovation Intruments is located in
Farmington River New Hampshire.
