Gibson USA started in 1974 in Nashville TN
making Les Paul Guitars. Sporting innovation not seen in most other
brands, their vintage styling's became a huge success. From flametop
sunburst Les Pauls to dot-neck versions of ES-335, Gibson continued

Gibson's branding strongly hinges on endorsements from popular musicians

trouble restoring the Gibson reputation for quality.
